Hi, I’m Hayley
Here’s a bit about me
My Story
After a long career in marketing working for large businesses, I felt increasingly drawn to sharing the practices that have been helpful to me over the years.
I first practiced yoga in my early 20s and kept coming back to different forms of it over the decades. The more I practiced, the more I loved the combination of ease and comfort and acceptance it was bringing to me - both physically and mentally. Yoga has had a profound positive impact on me and helped me cope and process the many stresses of recent years. I turned 50 last year, and decided it was finally time to train as a teacher and start to share the things I love about yoga and movement with others.
My Practice + Training
I discovered yoga by accident in my 20s and have practiced ever since. In addition to formal training I have had an almost daily practice for the past 5 years on top of a further 20+ years of regular practice in a variety of styles including Hatha, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Yin, and originally practicing at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in London. I have also attended many yoga workshops and retreats.
I completed my 200+ hour Daoist Flow Teacher Training with Jean Hall and James Rafael at Mission E1 in London. I initially trained with a view to deepening my personal practice, but have graduated with a passion for sharing yoga, Qigong, somatics, breath and movement with others.
